About Us

Our mission at Be Brave Press is to create books and products that can help kids who struggle with worries of all kinds feel seen and understood, to give them fun, engaging tools to help strengthen their brains… and feel even just a little better.

Why We’re Here

This is the face of a joyous, silly, loving, kind, creative child. It is also the face of a child who has struggled with anxiety from as early as a few months old. And the inspiration behind Be Brave Press.

Throughout years of working with a licensed psychologist, Talia, now eleven years old, has developed her own unique, positive, creative, and even whimsical approach to her mental wellness.

Be Brave Press was born out of a spark Talia ignited in her mother, Ellie Campbell, to support and encourage families throughout their journey with childhood anxiety through creating engaging and entertaining products for children of all ages.

We at Be Brave Press want to provide children and their families and counselors with resources that are enjoyable and easy to read/use, can help facilitate discussion about mental wellness, and give comfort and tools for all children who deal with anxiety.

Ellie Campbell, founder

Ellie is a mom of two (to Talia and her younger brother, John), wife, photographer, writer, copy editor… and very much a worrier. Having dealt with anxiety since she was very young, she has spent decades working on it with therapists and reading countless books and articles on the topic. Through Be Brave Press, she hopes to pass along knowledge and support in fun, new ways to families around the world who are struggling with anxiety. She and her family live in Sarasota, Florida with their lovable and nervous dog, Charlie.
